Senior Digital Engineer

Position Description
SRC is seeking an experienced senior digital engineer to contribute towards the design and development of radio-development and radio-signal-processing projects. The selected applicant will bring a comprehensive understanding of engineering principles, exceptional design skills and enthusiasm.
Responsibilities
- Provide engineering, project and technical leadership
- Lead the design of cutting edge digital systems for radio transmitters and receivers
- Provide technical support and oversight for all active projects in the assigned area
- Lead circuit integration/testing and software/firmware development efforts
Position Requirements
- Position requires a MSEE, MSCpE or comparable degree
- 15 years experience with development of digital hardware
- At least 10 years experience with design of digital systems/circuits for radio transmitters and receivers, including digital modulators and demodulators, digital filters, AGCs, carrier-tracking loops, symbol-tracking loops; DSPs, FPGAs and/or ASIC elements
- Development and engineering experience must include circuit(s) integration and testing and proficiency with software/firmware-development environments (e.g., MatLab, Verilog, Code Composer Studio)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Security Clearance Requirements
Must be a U.S. citizen. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
