SRC is seeking a senior software engineer for future business opportunities in the Chantilly, Va., area. Opportunities include SW/HW development, white paper research, and customer site support in the area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Design, implementation, test and documentation of software products
- White paper research
- System engineering tasks
- On-site support, providing guidance and expertise to the customer
- Project leadership
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, computer engineering, or related field with 10 or more years of experinence; master's degree preferred
- Must be flexible and responsive to shifting customer needs
- Ten or more years of software engineering and system integration experience required
- Broad and versatile development experience, including the following; IT services, internet applications, network applications, computer applications
- Approximately 10% travel is required
- Must possess strong communication and presentations skills
- Must be flexible and responsive to shifting customer needs
- Must be a team player with a desire to contribute and grow professionally and technically
- Must be able to manage multiple concurrent projects at one time and work to short duration timelines
- Knowledge and experience with CMMI is preferred
Security Requirements
An active Top Secret/SCI security clearance and current FS polygraph are required.
