Acquisition and Pricing Specialist

Position Description
SRC is seeking an administrative manager in the Dayton, Ohio area. This position will be sitting in our customer location supporting one of SRC’s U.S. Air Force customers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Perform the full range of contract price and cost analysis functions on a variety of complex Air Force acquisitions
- Analyze, evaluate and provide advice and assistance to government personnel before, during and after negotiations of weapon systems contractors' proposals for major weapons systems on a variety of contract types
- Provide advice and assistance in the areas of fact-finding, weighted guidelines, negotiation support, price negotiation memorandums, contract financing, contractual incentives and pricing arrangements including the establishment of the government objective
- Consult with other government specialists, other government support contractors and weapons systems contractors to determine that cost decisions are in the best interest of the government
- Prepare documentation and memoranda applicable to negotiated and competitive procurements for the review and approval of the contract officer
- Assist with cost review teams and the development and execution of approved acquisition strategies
- Coordinate audits by the Defense Contract Audit Agency and other support reports from other governmental agencies
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field
- Five or more years of related experience in contract cost and price analysis of DoD weapon systems
- Candidate must have familiarity with federal acquisition regulation, defense federal acquisition regulation and Air Force federal acquisition regulation
- Candidate must be knowledgeable in the use of weighted guidelines and Microsoft Office products

An active Secret security clearance and current investigation are required.
