Information Operations Analyst Job

Currently, SRC is seeking information operations analysts for future business opportunities in support of Navy information operations (IO) in the Norfolk, Va., area. IO analysts will provide unique, detailed technical or business analyses and reports within an assigned subject matter area that requires state-of-the-art technical expertise. They may support a wide variety of technical, intelligence or business assignments by performing specialized analytical work. They will support Navy fleet IO requirements and may provide technical expertise in systems, processes or procedures that will support Navy warfighter requirements in the information domain.

Responsibilities

- Develop a variety of IO or business related deliverables based upon supported organization operations and in support of plan, execute and assess processes
- Provide technical guidance and expertise in support of information systems, security, operations, development or integration planning efforts
- Support documentation and assessment processes
- Analyze work procedures, processes and efficiencies
- Recommend changes to improve effectiveness and efficiency
- Provide proven methods and studies illustrating improved efficiency

Position Requirements

- Seven or more years of experience providing technical expertise within a specific subject IO area or discipline, similar to the responsibilities described above, with in-depth knowledge and understanding of applicable technical concepts and practices
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I or Level II certification is required
- Strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in project teams
- Demonstrated familiarity with military information operations technology, doctrine and/or policy
- Applied knowledge and experience in technical IO and supporting activities such as electronic warfare or computer network operations to include defense, attack, or exploitation
- Applied knowledge and experience in cognitive IO and supporting activities such as military information support to operations, operations security, or military deception
- Recognized industry information security, business management or other relevant certifications and credentials are highly desired

Security Requirements

An active Secret security clearance and current investigation are required.
