Currently, SRC is seeking an entry level information technology (IT) analyst for future business opportunities to provide routine design, coding, and documentation of application programs for computers and related equipment used for scientific or commercial projects in support of Navy information operations (IO) in the Norfolk, Va., area.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Performs routine technical tasks using standard programming methods and techniques
- Develop simple, coding level flow charts and associated prose from general program statement and code-assigned segments of a program using machine and/or other program languages
- Assist in developing test routines and data
- Test all codes produced and assist in the testing of the total program, documenting, in standardized terminology and all procedures used
- Provide theoretical analysis, where required, to assist in solving problems efficiently
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field or any equivalent combination of education, relevant training and related experience is acceptable
- DoD 8570 IAT Level I certification required
- Must have strong interpersonal, writing and speaking skills and be able to work as a member of a diverse team
- Experience supporting Navy activities highly desired
Security Requirements
An active Top Secret clearance and current investigation are required.
