Currently, SRC is seeking a security systems engineer in support of Navy information operations (IO) activities in the Norfolk, Va., area.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and maintain protection of classified and/or sensitive information through security surveys and computer network testing
- Perform analysis of systems, capabilities, processes, procedures, architectures, networks and communications to define and recommend improvements or alternatives
- Prepare high level, technical reports to illustrate improved operations and recommendations
- Perform analytical taskings
- Analyze and define Security Requirements
- Gather and organize technical information on existing security programs and products
- Support Navy enterprise level computer network defense mission, functions and tasks
Position Requirements
- Two years of experience providing security systems engineering support similar to that described under functional responsibility
- Knowledge and understanding of applicable technical concepts and practices
- DoD 8570 IAT certification a plus
Security Requirements
An active Secret security clearance and current investigation are required.
