SRC is currently seeking a Radar Systems Engineer. SRC has developed a revolutionary new radar system to detect fired mortar rounds. Experienced radar systems engineers are needed to develop new generations of the Lightweight Counter-Mortar Radar (LCMR) and enhance the capabilities of the current system and related technologies.

The LCMR was identified as the "U.S. Army’s Top 10 Invention" in 2005. The radar’s unique lightweight, portable design, and 360-degree coverage has made it critical in protecting U.S. Forces.

This Engineer will be responsible for the design, analysis, and testing of advanced radar systems. Duties will include architecture development; analysis through integration and test; performing trade studies; creating requirement and design specs; performing simulations; and supporting customer presentations. This individual will work closely with interdisciplinary design team in our Syracuse office to ensure system requirements are met. This individual will also travel to various test sites in the U.S.

Position Requirements
